Creating a post with the composer

Click New post to open the composer. It guides you through a few steps: content, schedule, approval and review. Content - Pick the Instagram account to publish to. - Choose the format: single image, Reel (video) or carousel (up to 10 images). - Upload your media and write a caption. Drafts save automatically There is no "Save as draft" button - you don't need one. The composer autosaves your work every time you press Continue and every 20 seconds while you type. Look for the "Saved as draft" indicator in the header. You can safely close the composer and pick the draft up later from the posts list. Collaborators You can add up to 3 collaborators to a post (not available on Stories). Note that Instagram sends each collaborator an invitation they must accept in the Instagram app - the post appears on their profile only after they accept, so a Pending state right after publishing is normal. Good to know - Tagging people is not supported on Reels (an Instagram API limitation). - A post needs at least one media file before it can be scheduled or published - captions-only drafts are fine while you work. Posting to more than one network If you publish to both Instagram and Threads from the same post, each network needs to know which of your connected accounts it should post as. The composer asks you in the first step, and the Review step shows your choice per network before anything goes out. Different handles on Instagram and Threads are normal - see Choose which account each network posts to for the details, including what the "Several accounts are connected" message means. Each network can also use a different format from the same draft - a Reel on Instagram and a text post on Threads, for example. See Post different formats to each network. Facebook works a bit differently. Turn on the Facebook tab in the first step and the post goes out to every Facebook Page you've connected - there's no per-Page picker like Instagram or Threads. Facebook Pages can also publish any format Flomixy supports (image, carousel, video, Reel, Story or text), so adding Facebook to a post never forces a format change on your other networks. Reels: requirements and limits

Choose Reel as the format in the composer to publish a video. What to know before you upload - Use a standard video file (MP4 works best), vertical 9:16 for the classic Reels look. - After you submit, Instagram encodes the video - publishing takes noticeably longer than an image post (up to a couple of minutes). Don't worry if the post stays "publishing" for a bit. - Tagging people is not available on Reels - that's an Instagram API limitation, not a missing feature. - Music from Instagram's library can't be added here - trending sounds and licensed tracks are only available in the Instagram app. Add any music to the video file before you upload. See Can I add music to my Reels or posts? - Collaborators work on Reels (up to 3) - see the collaborators article for how invitations work. Publishing as a Trial Reel When the format is set to Reel, you'll see a Publish as Trial Reel toggle. Trial Reels are Instagram's way to test a Reel's performance before showing it to your full audience - it's shown mainly to people who don't already follow you first. Turn it on and pick how it should graduate to your full audience: - I'll graduate it manually - the Reel stays a Trial Reel until you promote it yourself from the Instagram app. - Auto-graduate based on performance - Instagram automatically promotes it to your full audience if it performs well with non-followers during the trial period. Trial Reels and Collaborators don't mix. Instagram doesn't allow a Trial Reel to have collaborators tagged - if you already added collaborators to the post, the toggle is disabled until you remove them. If a Reel fails Instagram is picky about codecs and duration. Re-export the video as MP4 (H.264 + AAC), keep it within Instagram's Reels length limits, and try again. See also: Why did my post fail?

Choose which account each network posts to

When you publish to more than one network from a single post, each network needs to know which of your connected accounts it should post as. Flomixy now asks you that directly in the composer. Why you're seeing this now Until recently Flomixy published to Instagram only, so there was nothing to choose - the account you were already working in was the account that posted. Now that a single post can go out to both Instagram and Threads, that assumption no longer holds. The two are separate accounts with separate logins, and a workspace can have several of each. So Flomixy asks once, up front, instead of guessing. How to choose 1. In New post, pick your networks in the first step (Where should this post go?). 2. Right below, you'll see one section per network you selected. 3. Each section lists the accounts connected for that network. Click the one you want to post as. The account you pick is shown again on the Review step, under Account, so you can confirm before anything goes out. If a section says Automatically selected, it means you have exactly one account connected for that network and Flomixy will use it. Facebook is the exception - there's no picker Facebook doesn't ask you to choose one Page. Turn on the Facebook tab in the first step and the post goes out to every Facebook Page you've connected to the workspace - that's why the Facebook network shows a Page count (like Facebook (2 Pages)) instead of a list to click through. If you only want some of your Pages to receive a post, disconnect the ones you don't want on the Accounts page first, or leave Facebook off that post. Different handles on Instagram and Threads are normal If your Instagram handle and your Threads handle don't match, that is not an error and nothing is misconfigured. They are genuinely separate accounts, and plenty of brands run them under different names. Flomixy shows each network's real handle so you can see exactly where the post is going - match them up by eye, not by expecting the names to be identical. "Several accounts are connected - select which one to post to" If you see this message when you try to schedule or publish, it means: - you have two or more accounts connected for that network, and - the post doesn't say which one to use. Flomixy deliberately stops here rather than picking one for you. Publishing a client's post to the wrong brand's feed is not something we're willing to guess at. To fix it: go back to the first step of the composer, find the section for that network, and click the account you want. Then save or schedule again. Customizing options for each account on the same network Some networks let you connect more than one account of the same type - for example two TikTok accounts, or two Threads profiles for different brands. When a post targets more than one account on the same network, you can now set that network's options separately for each account instead of one shared setting for all of them. This applies to: - Media - one account can use a completely different photo or video than the rest, right from the Add your media panel on the Media step - TikTok - privacy level, and whether comments, duets, and stitches are allowed - Threads - who can reply, the topic tag, and the link attached to a text post - Instagram - collaborators, location, and tagged people - First comment - the automatic comment added right after publishing - Post format, scheduled time, and content language - one account can publish as a Reel while another publishes as an Image, go out at a different time, or be written in a different language, even though they're targeting the same network in the same post How to use it Wherever these options appear (in the composer, or on a post's edit page), you'll see a row of tabs: Main plus one tab per account. Main sets the default for every account that hasn't been customized. Click an account's tab to give that one account its own value - the tab shows it's been customized, and everything else keeps using Main's value. If you only ever post to one account per network, nothing changes for you - there's no extra tab to manage. The live preview shows one card per account too The preview panel on the right follows the same idea. If a network has two or more accounts targeted, its focus chip splits into one chip per account (showing that account's own handle, like @brand_a and @brand_b) instead of one shared chip for the whole network. Click an account's chip and the preview updates to show exactly what that account will publish - its own media, caption, and handle - so you can check each account's post before you schedule, not just the shared/first one. Disclosing paid or promotional content on TikTok If a TikTok post promotes your own products, or is part of a paid partnership with another brand, TikTok requires you to say so before it goes out. In the TikTok options panel, turn on Disclose video content, then check at least one of: - Your brand - the post promotes your own business. It will be labeled "Promotional content" on TikTok. - Branded content - you were paid or given something to make this post for another brand. It will be labeled "Paid partnership" on TikTok. You can check both if a post is a paid partnership that also promotes your own brand. Branded content can't be posted privately. TikTok requires paid-partnership content to be publicly visible, so if you check Branded content, the Only me privacy option becomes unavailable for that post. Whenever a TikTok post is included, the Review step shows a short notice above the publish button linking to TikTok's Music Usage Confirmation (and, for branded content, its Branded Content Policy too) - this applies to every TikTok post, disclosed or not, since TikTok requires the same acknowledgment on all of them. Good to know - The choice is per post. Changing it on one post doesn't change anything else, and doesn't disconnect or reassign an account. - A network with no connected account shows No account connected with a link to connect one. You can still publish to your other networks in the meantime. - The account switcher at the top of the screen is separate. It controls which Instagram account you're browsing, not which account a multi-network post publishes as. Related articles: Creating a post with the composer · Getting started: your account and connecting Instagram · Why did my post fail? · Post different formats to each network Posting for more than one brand If the accounts you picked belong to two or more brands, a row of brand tabs appears above the preview. Click a brand to see only that brand's networks and accounts, with the caption and media it will actually use. With a single brand there are no tabs. The tabs only change what you see in the preview. They do not change which accounts the post goes to.

Post different formats to each network

One draft can go out as a Reel on Instagram and a text post on Threads. You don't need to build the post twice. Why some formats looked greyed out When you pick more than one network, the format row shows only the formats every selected network can publish. Add Threads to an Instagram post and Story and Reel grey out, because Threads doesn't have them. Greyed formats stay on screen rather than disappearing, and each one tells you which network it needs - for example Story - Instagram only. That way you can see what you'd get back by dropping a network, instead of watching options vanish. That shared format is the starting point. Each network can now go its own way. Set a different format per network 1. In Media, pick the format you want most networks to use. This is the Main format. 2. Above the format row, click the tab for a network - Instagram or Threads. 3. The format row now shows everything that network can publish. Pick one. 4. That network is marked Custom, and a dot appears on its tab. Reset to main puts it back. Back on Main, a line under the format row summarises the differences, like Threads → Image. Set different media per network Media works the same way as format. Above the format row, next to a network's tab, turn on Use different media for [network] to give that network its own photo or video instead of the shared one. Once it's on, you get the same three ways to add media as the shared uploader: Upload a file, pick from your Library of previously uploaded assets, or search Stock photos. Turn the toggle off and the network goes back to using the same media as every other selected network. When we pick a format for you If a network can't publish the Main format but something close works, we switch it and say so: Threads will post this as an Image - it has no Story. That network is marked Auto. It's a suggestion, not a decision - open the network's tab and pick something else if you'd rather. When there's no way to make it work A Text post has no photo or video, and Instagram can't publish without one. There's nothing to fall back to, so we stop and ask you to choose: - Add media for Instagram - the post becomes an image post everywhere. - Remove Instagram from this post - Threads gets the text post on its own. We never drop a network for you. What each network can publish | Format | Instagram | Threads | Facebook | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Image | Yes | Yes | Yes | | Carousel | Yes (up to 10) | Yes (up to 20) | Yes | | Reel | Yes | - | Yes | | Video | - | Yes | Yes | | Story | Yes | - | Yes | | Text | - | Yes | Yes | Threads has no Stories or Reels, and Instagram has no text-only posts. These are limits of the networks themselves, not settings you can turn on. Facebook Pages support every format Flomixy offers, so adding Facebook to a post never greys anything out for the other networks - it always has a matching format for whatever you picked as Main. TikTok media limits TikTok has its own rules, separate from the format table above: - Photos: JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 20 MB each, up to 35 images per post. We recommend a 9:16 aspect ratio. - Videos: MP4 or MOV, up to 100 MB, up to 10 minutes. WebM isn't supported yet. - Captions: a video caption can be up to 2,200 characters. On a photo post, the first line becomes the title (up to 90 characters) and the rest becomes the description (up to 4,000 characters). TikTok review status TikTok's review of our app is still in progress. Until it's approved, posts you publish through Flomixy go to TikTok as "Only me" - visible only to your own account - no matter which privacy option you pick in the composer. We show the privacy setting you'll get before you publish, so there are no surprises. The 5-posts-per-24-hours cap that applies to apps under review also still applies. We'll update this article the moment the review is approved and these limits lift. After you publish to TikTok TikTok can take a few minutes to finish processing a new post before it shows up on your profile. If you don't see it right away after publishing, that's expected - check back shortly, or open the post in Flomixy to see its status. Uploading and managing your media library

Uploading and managing your media library Flomixy keeps a shared library of every image and video your team has uploaded, so you don't have to re-upload the same photo every time you write a new post. Opening the Media Library Click Media Library in the left sidebar. You'll see every image and video your team has uploaded, newest first. Uploading multiple files at once You no longer need to be writing a post to add media to your library: 1. Open Media Library. 2. Drag and drop images or videos onto the upload area, or click it to browse your computer. 3. You can select up to 10 files at once. If you select more, only the first 10 are uploaded - select the rest in a second batch. Each file shows its own status as it uploads - Queued, Uploading, Uploaded, or Failed. If some files fail (for example, an unsupported format or a duplicate), the rest still upload successfully - you don't need to start over. Organizing media by brand If your workspace has more than one brand, the Media Library follows the brand selector at the top of the page: - Choose a brand to see that brand's media plus any media that has no brand. Media with no brand is marked with a Shared badge, because it can be used by every brand. Media from other brands is hidden. - Choose All brands to see everything. Files that belong to a brand show the brand's name as a small badge. - When a brand is selected, anything you upload is tagged with that brand automatically. Uploads made while All brands is selected are not tagged, so they are treated as shared. Moving media to another brand To change the brand of a file, click the ... menu on the file, choose Move to brand..., pick a brand (or No brand) and click Save. If the file no longer belongs to the brand you are viewing, it disappears from the list right away. To move several files at once, tick the checkbox on each file, click Assign to brand in the bar that appears, choose a brand and click Save. These options are available to team members who can edit posts. Account owners (clients) cannot change a file's brand. Browsing your files Files are shown as large cards so you can read the text on your images. Each card shows the file name, its dimensions and the date it was added. - Card size: use the S / M / L switch above the grid to show more, smaller cards or fewer, bigger ones. Flomixy remembers your choice in this browser. - Preview on hover: rest your mouse on a card for a moment and an enlarged preview appears next to it. Videos show their first frame and never start playing by themselves. - Full-size view: click (or tap, on a phone or tablet) a card's image to open it full screen. Use the arrows to move between files and Esc or the close button to leave. The ... menu and the trash icon sit in the bar under each image, so they never cover your picture. Finding out where a file is used Open the ... menu on any file and choose Used in... to see every post that uses it. For each post you'll see its status (for example Scheduled or Published), its date, the networks it goes to, and a link to open the post. If the file isn't used anywhere, you'll see a message saying so. If you only work with some brands, you only see posts of your brands. Use the Usage switch above the files to show All files, only the Used ones, or only the Unused ones - handy for cleaning up files nothing uses any more. Using library media in a post While writing a post, open the Library tab in the media step to pick any previously uploaded image or video - no need to upload it again. Deleting media Click the trash icon in the bar under a file in the Media Library and confirm to remove it. This only removes it from your library - it won't affect posts that already used that file. If the file is used in posts that are still scheduled, the confirmation tells you how many (for example, "Used in 2 scheduled posts"). Those posts will still be published with the file - deleting only removes it from your library, so you just won't be able to pick it again from there. Storage limits Your workspace has a media storage quota shared across your whole team. If you're getting close to the limit, you'll see a warning banner in the Media Library. If you reach the limit, new uploads are blocked until you free up space or contact support to increase your quota. Related articles - Creating a new post - Scheduling posts

Editing a post after you've created it

Editing a post after you've created it Once you've created a post, you don't need to delete it and start over just to make a change. From the post's detail page - click any post in your Calendar or Posts list to open it - you can update most parts of it, as long as it hasn't been published yet on every platform you sent it to. What you can change - Caption - edit the text at any time before that platform has published it. - Media - add a new photo or video, or replace one you already added. If the post is an Instagram Story, you can only have one media item, so adding a new one replaces the existing one. - Platforms - add a new platform or account to a post that's already scheduled, without duplicating it. Click Add platform on the post's detail page, pick the channel and account, and it's added alongside your existing platforms. - Threads options - if you're posting to Threads, you can still change who can reply, the topic tag, and whether it also shares to your Instagram Story. - First comment - if your post doesn't have a first comment yet, you can add one directly from the post's detail page - even after the post has already been published. This works for Instagram and Facebook posts. What's locked once a platform has published Once a specific platform has published your post, that platform's version becomes locked - you can't change its caption or media anymore, since it's already live. Other platforms on the same post that haven't published yet are unaffected and stay editable. Adding a platform to an existing post 1. Open the post from your Calendar or Posts list. 2. In the Platforms section, click Add platform. 3. Choose the channel (Instagram, Facebook, Threads, LinkedIn, or TikTok) and the account to post from. If your workspace manages accounts for more than one brand, the accounts for that channel are grouped under each brand's name so you can quickly find the right one. 4. Confirm - the new platform is added to the post and will publish on the same schedule as the rest. This only works before the post is currently publishing or already live everywhere - if it's mid-publish, wait for that to finish first. If your post is already posting to a channel through one account, that channel still shows up in Add platform as long as your workspace has another connected account on it - for example, a second brand's Instagram account. Pick that channel again and you'll only see the account(s) not already used by this post, so you can add a second brand's account alongside the first without any mix-up. Once every connected account on a channel is already used by the post, that channel stops showing up, the same as before. When a post has two accounts on the same channel this way, the edit screen shows a separate tab for each one - labeled with that account's own username so you can tell them apart at a glance. Each tab's caption, schedule, and media override are completely independent: changing one account's tab never touches the other's. If a channel only has one account on the post, its tab looks exactly as it always has. Using different media for one platform When a post goes to more than one platform, you can give one platform its own photo or video instead of sharing the same media across all of them. On the edit screen, open the tab for that platform and turn on "Use different media for [platform]," then choose how to add the replacement: - Upload - pick a file from your device. - Library - reuse a photo or video you've already uploaded to Flomixy before. - Stock - search free stock photos and add one straight into the post, no download/upload round-trip needed. The Stock tab isn't available for platforms set to a video/Reel format, since stock photos are images only. Turn the toggle back off to go back to using the post's main media for that platform. This is only available for posts going to more than one platform. Scheduling each platform separately When a post goes to more than one platform, each one can have its own posting time instead of all going out at once. On the edit screen, below the main schedule, you'll see a row for each platform - a note above them explains that each can run on its own time. If you've set a different time for a platform, it shows a Custom badge next to its name so you can tell at a glance which ones have been adjusted. Platforms without the badge are still using the post's main scheduled time. Duplicating a post to another account Instead of retyping a post for a different connected account, open the post and choose Duplicate to another account. Pick the account or platform you want to copy it to and a new date and time - Flomixy creates a brand-new scheduled post with the same caption and media, ready for you to review before it goes out. The original post is untouched. Copying a link to your published post Once a post has gone live, you can quickly copy a link to it - handy for sharing it in Slack, pasting it into a Telegram message, or referencing it anywhere else. - On the post's detail page, next to View on Instagram (or whichever network it published to), click Copy link. The link is copied to your clipboard. - If a post went out to more than one network, each network has its own Copy link button in the Where this post goes panel - copy the exact link for the network you need. - A post that hasn't published anywhere yet has no link to copy, so the button won't appear until it does. - For an Instagram Story, the link only works for 24 hours after it goes live (same as viewing it on Instagram directly) - after that, Copy link is disabled. Stories: preview on mobile and desktop

A Story is a single image or video that appears full screen for a short time. Flomixy shows you how it will look before you publish. Previewing your Story In the post composer, choose the Story format. The preview shows your media in a tall 9:16 frame with the Instagram Story header and reply bar. Mobile or Desktop view Instagram shows Stories differently on a phone and on the web. Use the Mobile / Desktop switch above the preview to compare: - Mobile (default): your media fills the whole tall frame, so a square photo is cropped at the sides. - Desktop: your media fits inside the frame on a black background, with black bars above and below, and the web reply row (message field, heart and send). The Safe zones and Phone frame options are only shown in Mobile view. Good to know - A single Story holds exactly one image or video. To share several, publish them as separate Stories (see below). - If your media isn't 9:16, the preview tells you how much will be cropped on mobile. Turning a carousel into Stories An Instagram carousel can also go out as Stories, one Story per photo or video, in carousel order. A Story holds only one item, so this is how you share the whole set. - While creating a post: tick Also publish as a Story. With two or more files you choose First media only (one Story) or All media as separate Stories. With All, the Stories publish one minute apart, in order, and each is fitted to 9:16. The review step shows the total, for example "5 Stories, 1 minute apart". - From a published Instagram post: open the post and, in Where this post goes, click Make Story (or Make Stories when the post has several files) on the Instagram row. The composer opens in Story format with the post's media already added (all files when there are several). Pick a time and publish. Videos shorter than 3 seconds or longer than 60 seconds can't be Stories and are skipped, and the composer tells you which ones. If none of the media fits, you'll be asked to add an image or a video within that range. Stories don't take a caption, but you can still tag people. Viewing a published Story On a published post that also went out as a Story, the preview on the right shows one version at a time. Use the tabs above the preview, or click a row under Where this post goes, to switch between the feed post and each Story (one per account). Stories stay on Instagram for 24 hours. After that the preview is dimmed with a note that the Story has expired, and its View on Instagram and Copy link buttons are disabled. Editing a Story deck before it is published When a draft has several Stories for one account, the edit page shows them as one swipeable preview. Swipe to the Story you want to change, then use the buttons under the preview: - Replace swaps the picture or video of that Story only. The other Stories keep their media. - Remove takes that Story out of the deck. The remaining Stories stay in order, and you cannot remove the last one. - Tag on photo, then click the Story, adds a tagged person to the Story you are looking at. Tags are saved per Story. Click Save to apply your changes. Stories that are already published or publishing cannot be changed, and these buttons are not available if your role cannot edit posts. Turn RSS feed items into draft posts

Got a company blog or a news feed? Flomixy can watch it and turn every new item into a draft post for you. You review the drafts and approve them like any other post. Nothing is ever published automatically. What you need An RSS or Atom feed URL of your blog. The normal address of your blog (for example https://example.com/blog) will not work, because it is a web page, not a feed. - Feed URLs often end in /feed, /rss or /atom.xml. WordPress blogs use /feed/, for example https://example.com/feed/. - Not sure? Open your blog in a browser, view the page source and search for application/rss+xml or application/atom+xml. The href next to it is your feed URL. - The feed must be public. Feeds that need a login cannot be read. No feed address? Paste your website You don't have to know the feed URL. Paste the address of your website into Feed URL and click Find feed: - If the site announces a feed, the Feed URL is filled in and you see a preview of the first items. - If there is no feed but the site has a sitemap (sitemap.xml, or one listed in robots.txt), Flomixy uses it. Set the Path prefix first (for example /blog/) so only your blog pages are used. Up to 200 pages are added to the item library as New; each page's title, image and description are read from the page itself (og:title, og:image, meta description). A sitemap source is refreshed only by hand (Sync), about 15 pages are read per refresh, so press it again for larger blogs. Nothing is drafted automatically from a sitemap. - If neither is found, you see a message and nothing is created. Enter the feed address by hand. Limits: pages that only appear through JavaScript, and content behind a login or paywall, can't be read. Addresses that redirect (for example http to https) are followed up to 3 times; addresses pointing to private or internal networks are refused. Who can set this up Account owners, Admins and Workspace owners can add, edit and delete feeds. Feeds belong to a brand, so pick the brand first. Add a feed 1. Go to Settings → Automation. 2. Choose the Brand. 3. Click Add your first feed (or Add feed if you already have some). 4. Fill in: - Feed name, for you only, for example Company blog. - Feed URL, the public http or https address of the RSS or Atom feed. - Channel and Account, where the drafts will be aimed. The brand needs a connected account on that channel. If it has none, connect one on the Accounts page first. 5. Click Add feed. Items already in the feed when you add it never become drafts on their own. Only items that appear afterwards do, so adding a feed never floods your brand with old posts. The existing items are kept in the feed's item library (see below), where you can still pick them by hand. When you add a feed you can tick Import existing feed items too. The existing items are then stored in the library as New (ready to pick) instead of Ignored. Either way, no drafts are created for them. What a draft looks like Flomixy checks your feeds every 15 minutes. For each new item it creates a draft with: - the item's title, description and link as the caption - the item's image as media, when the feed provides one Open Posts to find the drafts, edit them, schedule them and send them for approval as usual. The same item is never drafted twice, even if you delete the draft. The feed image By default the image that comes with a feed item is attached to the draft. Untick Use the image from the feed when you add or edit a feed if you would rather add your own. In any draft you can replace the image, remove it or add more images, up to the limit of the network. If the image can't be used (it can't be downloaded, isn't a supported image or is too large), the draft is still created, without an image, and the draft tells you why. Instagram needs at least one image, so add one before you schedule it. If the image is wider than Instagram allows in the feed, you'll see a note that Instagram will crop it. A square (1:1) or 4:5 version avoids that. Pick items by hand: the item library A feed only hands out its latest items (usually around 20). Flomixy keeps the items it has seen in a library per feed, up to 200, so you can choose what to use. 1. Go to Settings → Automation and click the Open item library button on a feed. 2. Search by title or description (capital letters don't matter), or filter by New, Ignored or Drafted. 3. Tick the items you want. Items that are already drafted can't be selected again. 4. Choose the Account, a Start date, how many posts per week, the days of the week and the time. The time is read in your workspace timezone. 5. Click Create drafts. You get one draft per selected item, with a suggested publish time each (for example Mon, Wed and Fri at 10:00 starting on 2 November). The drafts are not scheduled or published yet. The image is copied only for the items you draft, and if an image can't be used the draft is still created without it and the library says why. Happy with the times? Click Schedule all. Every draft then goes through the normal flow: it is scheduled, or waits for approval if your brand requires it. Nothing is sent until then. You can also open any draft in Posts and change it first. Team members can't see or use the library. Creating drafts needs a connected account on the chosen channel. If the brand has none, or an item is already drafted, nothing is created and you'll see a message. Suggest several posts from one article One article can give you several posts with the same content but a different angle. In the item library, click Suggest N posts on an item and pick how many (1 to 8), the channel and the account. - Flomixy writes all the variants in one AI request (a question, a tip, a quote or fact, a call to action, and more). It reads the text of that article's page, or uses the title and description from the feed if the page can't be read. - You see a preview. Under each text you'll see how long it is next to the limit of the channel (for example 310 / 2200 bytes). A text over the limit is highlighted and Create drafts stays greyed out until you shorten it. Edit any text, remove the ones you don't want, then confirm. Each confirmed variant becomes its own draft, spaced out by the start date, how many per week, the day and the time you choose. Nothing is scheduled or published until you approve it. - Links follow each network's rule: Instagram and TikTok get "Link in bio", the other networks get the article link. - If the item already has AI drafts, you'll see how many exist. You can still continue, and a new variant with the same text as an existing one is left out. - One request uses one unit of your monthly AI limit. - If AI is unavailable or your monthly limit is used up, you still get variants: simple templates (title and link, description and link, a question and link), marked template. They don't use any of your AI limit. The question in a template is written in your language when it is Serbian, English, German, French, Spanish or Portuguese, and in English otherwise. - You need permission to create posts. Limits - Up to 10 feeds per brand. - Up to 200 items in a feed's library. The oldest New and Ignored items are dropped first. Drafted items are kept. - Up to 5 new drafts per feed in each check. If a feed publishes more at once, the rest are picked up on the next checks. - Feed addresses must be public. Private or internal addresses are rejected. Pause, edit or delete a feed Each feed shows its channel, account and when it was Last checked. - Use the switch next to a feed to pause or resume it. - Edit feed changes the name, URL, channel or account. - Delete feed removes the feed. Posts already drafted from it stay. Choose how often a feed is checked When you add or edit a feed, pick Check for new items: every 15 minutes, every hour (the default), every 6 hours, every 24 hours, or Manual sync only. A feed set to manual only is never checked automatically, but Sync now still works. Checking less often is fine for blogs that post a few times a week. Check a feed right now You don't have to wait for the next automatic check. Click the Sync now button (the circular arrows) on a feed to fetch it immediately. - New items become drafts straight away, and a message tells you how many were created. - If there is nothing new, you'll see Synced — no new items. - A feed you've just added only marks its existing items as seen, so it won't flood your drafts. - Each feed can be synced once a minute. The button stays greyed out until you can use it again. - If Flomixy turned the feed off after repeated errors, a successful Sync now turns it back on. If it still can't be read, it stays off and you'll see an error. Pick several images and make a carousel In the feed's item library, click Choose images on an item. Flomixy then looks at that one article and offers every different image it finds: the feed's own image, the article's preview image and the pictures in the text (up to 10). - Click the images in the order you want. The numbers show the order, and with more than one image the draft becomes a carousel. One image makes a normal image post. - Each channel has its own limit (for example 10 on Instagram, 1 on LinkedIn). Once you reach it, further clicks are blocked and the limit is shown. - Instagram and TikTok can't post without an image. An item with none is marked No image and can't be turned into a draft until you pick or paste an image address. - Images that are private, not pictures, or larger than 20 MB are skipped; the other images and the draft are still created. - Opening the library never contacts the article sites. Only the item you open is checked. If a feed stops working If a feed can't be read 10 checks in a row (for example the address changed or the site is down), Flomixy turns it off. Fix the address with Edit feed, then switch it back on, or click Sync now to try again. Publishing to Bluesky: text, images, link previews and replies

You can publish text posts, images, link previews and a first comment to Bluesky from the Flomixy composer, in the same flow as your other networks. Create a post 1. Open New post and select your Bluesky account in the destination step. 2. Choose Text or Image in the media step. Bluesky takes up to 4 images, or one video, never both. 3. Write your caption. Bluesky allows 300 characters, and the counter shows how many you have left. 4. Choose when to publish and click Publish now or schedule it. What Flomixy does for you - Links, #hashtags and @mentions become real, clickable Bluesky links. A mention only links when the handle exists on Bluesky. - When your caption contains a link, Bluesky shows a link preview card with the page image, title and description. Turn Show a link preview card off in the caption step if you do not want it. If the page cannot be read, the post is still published without a card. - Large images are resized automatically to fit Bluesky's limit. Bluesky options In the caption step you can set: - Who can reply: Everyone, Nobody, Only people you mention, Your followers, or People you follow. - Allow quote posts: turn it off to stop others from quoting the post. - Content warning: label the post when it needs one. - Alt text for every image, which makes your post accessible and is shown on Bluesky. - First comment: Flomixy publishes it as a reply under your post, after the delay you choose. Links in it are clickable. Deleting a post Open the post and click Delete. Choose Delete here and on the platforms to remove it from Bluesky too, or Delete here only to keep it live on Bluesky. If Bluesky refuses the delete, Flomixy tells you the post is still live so you can remove it in the Bluesky app. Good to know - Metrics for Bluesky posts are not available in Flomixy yet. - If a post fails, the post page explains why and what to do, for example when the account needs to be reconnected.
