Client payment history and failed payments

Last updated on Oct 07, 2026

If your clients pay for their workspace by card, you can see every payment they have made, and clients are warned when a payment does not go through.

Seeing a client's payment history

This is for agencies that run their own white-label panel and bill clients by card.

  1. Open Clients & billing in your panel.
  2. Find the client in the list.
  3. Click Payment history.

A window opens with the client's payments, newest first. For each payment you see the Date, Amount, Fee, Status, how much was Refunded, and a View invoice link when an invoice exists. If there are many payments, use the page buttons at the bottom.

A payment can have one of these statuses:

  • Paid: the payment went through.
  • Failed: the card was declined or the payment could not be completed.
  • Refunded: the whole amount was returned to the client.
  • Partially refunded: part of the amount was returned. The Refunded column shows how much.
  • Disputed: the client questioned the payment with their card issuer. You handle disputes in your own payment dashboard, and we email you when one is opened, so you can send your evidence before the deadline.

If a client has not paid anything yet, the window says No payments yet.

Payments you recorded by hand with Mark as paid show up in the same list.

What your client sees when a payment fails

If a client's latest card payment fails, a red banner appears at the top of their workspace: Your last payment failed. Their team keeps access while the payment is retried, so nothing is switched off straight away.

Workspace owners (and anyone who can manage billing) see an Update payment details link in the banner. It opens the Subscription page, where they can click Manage payment & invoices to change the card. Other team members see the banner without the link and should ask their workspace owner to fix it.

Once the payment goes through, the banner disappears.
