Disconnecting an Instagram account
Disconnecting (Accounts page) removes our access token for that account. We can no longer publish or read anything for it. You can also revoke access from the Meta side (Instagram app → Settings → Website permissions) - the effect is the same.
Deleting your data
If you remove the app from your Instagram/Facebook settings, Meta notifies us automatically and the deletion process starts. You receive a confirmation code and can check the status of your deletion request on the data-deletion page linked above. You can also contact us directly at [email protected].
Deleting your team
The team owner can delete the whole team in Settings → Team settings → Delete team. You confirm by typing the team name exactly.
What happens when you delete a team:
- Every member is signed out, and the other members get an email telling them the team was deleted.
- The team's subscription is cancelled.
- Posts, brands and connected accounts of the team are permanently removed after a retention period of about 30 days. Until then, [email protected] can restore the team if you deleted it by mistake.
Only the team owner sees this option. Admins, approvers and team members don't, and it can't be given to a custom role. Deleting a team does not delete your personal account; you can delete that separately from your account settings.
